Founder and Designer Carlye Morgan conceived of Chalonne while shopping for her first Apple Watch. After looking for straps that complemented her unique personal style, she found few options that featured luxe materials like diamonds or gold.

“I didn’t want to compromise my personal style in order to have the latest technology on my wrist. A watch is a piece of jewelry, like anything else a woman puts on every day to express her personality and feel confident, and she should enjoy wearing it.” Carlye recalls.

Enamored by the arts at a young age, Carlye studied art and architecture in Spain and Italy and set out to bring that distinctive European style to the Apple Watch strap landscape. Today, the impeccable craftsmanship of the artisans at Jean Rousseau combined with the finest, ethically sourced materials available have brought her vision to life. Brilliant diamonds, freshwater pearls, and lustrous 14k gold are intermixed with rich leathers and exotic hides including lizard, stingray, and alligator which converge on the wrist to create a distinctive look.

Each strap is designed with a nod to a woman who has inspired Carlye’s personal journey. The eye-catching straps from the Bijou Collection, like the Frances and the Katherine, feature diamonds set in 14k white gold. Straps from Classique Collection, like the Ali, feature rich alligator in essential colors and textures.

“Clothing, jewelry and accessories are a form of self-expression. Now women can select an Apple Watch strap that complements and elevates their everyday statement of style,” says Carlye.

The first offering from Chalonne, featuring thirteen styles for the uncompromising woman, showcases the best in design and craftsmanship. Ranging in price from $650-$8,295, each Chalonne strap evokes a sense of confidence and impeccable elegance. The collection will be available on Chalonne.com, and at the Jean Rousseau Paris boutique-atelier in New York City.

For every strap sold on their website, Chalonne makes a donation to a selected non-profit that champions economic opportunities, physical health and the inner strength of women everywhere.
