    Materials and finishing *

    Lining * The lining (the part in contact with the skin) used in most of our straps is "Alzavel plain calf", with exception of sharkskin straps where we use shark lining. If you prefer to have an extra resistant lining (for instance if you live in a warm area or go in for sports), we recommend that you choose a "shrunk cow lining". If you buy an alligator strap, you may also choose to have an alligator lining, an extra cost will be charged to you.

    Feature * Most type of material can be used both for "cut edge" or "turned edge" construction – it basically is a matter of personal choice and taste. In a few instances, however, material selected dictates the type of strap, like for silk where "turned edge" is the only technical option
